The Second Dingle Peninsula Mindfulness Festival 2017. As a Coaching Psychologist, Mindfulness Practitioner and Author of the book, “Mindful Walking”, I am delighted to share with you the NEWS that;
On the May, 27th (Saturday), 28th (Sunday), the second Dingle Peninsula Mindfulness Festival will take place. It will be headquartered in Cloghane / Brandon on the Northern shores of the beautiful Peninsula. This is an invitation to all those curious and interested in exploring the science and practice of mindfulness and its many aspects. (Mindful Walking, Sitting, Eating, Living,) From introductions for beginners to the opportunity to deepen practice for those more experienced, there will be something for everyone.
It will hopefully, continue a conversation to explore the applications of mindfulness in Ireland in the third millennium. It will be an opportunity both to walk and talk and explore a mind / body understanding of the human condition. It will be an opportunity to SLOW DOWN and reconnect with the real world. At a personal level it will be an opportunity to understand and manage our own performance in the face of life challenges. Over the weekend many aspects of mindfulness, both formal and informal (Mindful Walking, Sitting, Eating, Living) will be introduced, experienced and practiced. The hope is that everyone will have something to take away, which, will help them to begin to be with their life experience, positive, negative or neutral, in a new way. The science and evidence based implications of mindful practice, for emotional and physical health and well-being, are not to be underestimated.
